Leopards

Hello my lovely Leopards & families! smiley

I hope you are all keeping yourselves safe and most importantly, having fun!

Reading: Please prioritise reading with your child, if nothing else, please read everyday. It is so important in Year 1. Here is a link to e-books, just like the ones we read in school, you can sign up for free: https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/home/reading-site/find-a-book/library-page?view=image&series=Read+Write+Inc.

Home Learning: Below are also the links to learning for English, Maths and Curriculum Activities and Pick & Mix Activities. These can be opened and accessed on any device (smartphone, tablet, laptop etc.). Nothing needs to be printed out. New learning is added weekly. Please keep on top of learning at home, as much as possible, to help your child stay on track.

Emails: Please send me updates of how you are getting on with home learning, I would love to see and hear some of the things you have been up to.

Phone Calls: Please expect a phone call, from a withheld number, every few weeks. It's just me, calling to see how you are getting on and answer any questions about home learning. Most of the time, I make phone calls on a Friday, if this is not convenient for you, please email me to arrange another time. Similarly, if you miss my call, feel free to email me with an update: gemmahuggon@newtown.cumbria.sch.uk

I look forward to hearing from you all!

Take Care heart
